Chennaites waiting for Aavin Monthly Milk Card will be issued from 1st December

People who have applied for Aavin Monthly Milk card will be issued from 1st December. The milk suppliers had stopped supplying milk to Aavin because of its less procurement price. Because of this there was dearth of milk. On account of this, Aavin had suspended issuing of fresh cards from January 2014. Recently the Tamil Nadu Government has hiked procurement and sale price of Aavin milk by the dairy cooperative. Now the supply has increased by 15 Lakh litres a day. Now Aavin has decided to issue monthly cards to the applicants.
