While presenting the report under Act 110, former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had emphasised the need for a robust monitoring system to execute the projects in a perfect way.
Tamil Nadu government signed an understanding with the Massachusetts Technology Corporation on the projects for improvement of School Education, Poverty eradication, and skill development.
Massachusetts Technology Corporation is a very famous institution reputed for planning and execution of projects.
More than 100 professors from reputed universities such as MIT, Harvard, Yale, Stanford are members.
This is an institution with non-profit motive.
It will give top priority to Tamil Nadu government projects and help execute these projects with great success.
It will give consultancy on the projects for improvement of School Education, Poverty eradication, and skill development. More projects will be identified in the next 2 years and executed.
Massachusetts Technology Corporation will improve the existing infrastructure and also offer technical help for successful execution of the projects. While closely monitoring the projects, it will help by providing all necessary information.
The Director, Dr. Esther, expressed that the institute is proud to be associated with the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The understanding was signed on 19th November by the Chief Secretary for Development, Mr. S. Krishnan in the presence of the Chief Minister, Mr. O. Panneerselvam.
