Selection of scholarship for students of 8th Standard

National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) has released the applications for the National Scholarship for students of 8th Standards on the internet.
The government Examination Board has instructed that these applications will have to be downloaded before 4th December, filled up and submitted.
The examination is scheduled on 27th December.
The headmasters of the schools will have to download from the website (http://www.siechd.nic.in/stse_nmms/nmms.htm) between 26th November and 4th December.
The annual income of the student’s parent should not exceed Rs. 1.5 Lakhs.
The students should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks.
The candidates must apply through their school only.
The Headmaster can distributed the downloaded applications to the students and ask them to fill them up with their parents’ help and submit back before 5th December.
The Headmasters should register the filled forms on the net between 5th & 8th December.
They should pay the examination fess and submit the forms to the District Education Officers before 11th December.
