Showers would last up to four days

The Met department and weather experts said the showers would last up to four days and would begin to withdraw by mid-December. Sporadic showers may be seen till the end of this month, but monsoon would begin to retreat from mid-December and move further south towards Sri Lanka. Maximum temperature during the course of the week would also drop.
