Trains fares to go up again as the fuel price increases: Central Minister!

The Railway Budget for next year will be presented in February, 2015.Information abounds that the train fares will be increased again.
Mr. Suresh Prabhu, Railway Minister, informed that huge funds are required for building the necessary infrastructure for Railways. However, there is acute shortage of funds at present.
The pending railway projects cost between 6 Lakh Crores & 8 Lakh Crores. Hence, there is a plan to increase the train fares.
However, the quality of service will be improved before the upward revision of train fares.
There will be no compromise on issues of security.
However, the public should also bear this cost.
At the same time, Railway Ministry informs that the reservations during this period is lesser as compared to the previous year!
