+2 typing Theory Test will be converted into a practical test from next year.
A press release on this regard from the Chief Secretary of the Department of Education, Ms. T. Sabitha:
Until now, the subject of typing practice-1 under the section of Office Management in the +2 Industrial Education Course was one of the theory examinations.
However, this subject is purely related to practical skill. Hence, this is now being converted to a practical examination.
So, for the coming 2015 March examinations, the subject of typing will have a practical examination conducted in February.
This measure has been welcomed by the teachers for high school technical education.
