Indian IT Industry is growing at 15% annually and in the next 10 year if it continues to progress at this rate should touch $285 Billion mark by 2020.

This is per the report by KPMG and Asia Oceanic Computing Industry Organization. The organization represents 15,000 companies in Asia and Australian continents. India is supposed to continue to lead in global sourcing activity as per a media report.

The `Asia-Oceania Vision 2020: Enabling IT leadership through collaboration` report concentrated on the opportunities and challenges for the 20-major countries and global opportunities. The report forecasts the region to become the largest supplier of IT and IT-enabled services by 2020. If that comes true then the region will contribute to 74.5 %percent of the global demand.

The climate change would continue to be major concern and the IT industry will address the concern very strategically through h careful spending on efficient technologies, renewable energy, recycling and waste management. The applications in healthcare, education, governance and infrastructure would drive the growth both within the region and across the globe according to Mr. Kumar Parakala, Global Head of Sourcing Advisory and Chief Operating Officer (KPMG India).
