Temporary shelters at various places in Tirumala provided on the occasion Vaikunta Ekadasi

The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has erected temporary shelters at various places in Tirumala to provide a comfortable stay to the pilgrims and shield them from inclement weather conditions since there will be heavy rush of devotees during the auspicious Vaikunta Ekadasi, which is coinciding with the New Year day.
As many as 11 shelters spanning over 66,600 square feet have been erected at eight different places to accommodate 6000 – 7000 pilgrims. These shelters have been set up in addition to the existing seven shelters, which covers 1,24,200 square feet and accommodates 12,500 devotees.
