Pay property tax using debit and credit cards without incurring additional expenditure

Chennaites refrain from using net banking because of the service charges imposed by the banks. Now Chennai Corporation which held talks with certain banks has asked certain banks not to impose service tax. Hence ICICI, HDFC, IDBI, IndusIand and Punjab National Bank has agreed to the waiver of additional charges. From Pongal, property owners in the city will be able to pay via debit card, credit card or net banking without incurring additional expenditure.
