Discussions with Bank Employees’ Unions Scheduled today in Mumbai!

The workers unions of nationalised banks have announced their decision to go on strike for 4 days from 21st January.
However, discussions with the Banks Employee Unions are scheduled today (Monday, 19th January) to reach a conclusion on salary revision.
If no agreements are reached during this discussion, the Bank Employees Unions have informed that they plan to go on strike for 4 days from 21st January till 24th January.
25th January is a Sunday to be followed by Republic Day on Monday, 26th January. Hence, there is a possibility of all banking services being disrupted for 6 consecutive days!
