Contractors seem reluctant in taking up monorail projects

Tamil Nadu government is making its fifth request for proposal to construct monorail as per earlier proposals to contractors. This however doesn’t seem to interest any taker unfortunately. As of now, two such companies are eyed as vendors but they seem to show reluctance towards taking up the work owing to uncertainty in political stuffs due to fast approaching assembly elections.
