100 more small buses to rock Chennai city in 3 months

Following the immense response and usefulness of Metropolitan Transport Corporation’s small buses, 100 more are in pipeline to rock the city roads in three months down the line. This coincidentally falls into the same time duration when the first phase of Chennai metro rail between Koyambedu and Alandur.
Small buses can carry over twenty seven passengers seated at a time. These are to be purchased at a price of Rs 16.75. Most such small buses will run within 10km radius of metro stations.
