Electronic tickets compulsory to visit Taj Mahal!

Electronic ticket system has been made compulsory for visiting Taj Mahal.
This step has been taken to totally prevent all fake tickets currently being used.
Electronic tickets were introduced from 25th December following large number of complaints that many fake tickets were in circulation.
Electronic tickets were being issued from the East & South Gates of Taj Mahal. With a drive to total prevention of fake tickets, electronic tickets would be introduced in all the gates.
Electronic tickets will facilitate the correct count of the visitors as well as reduce the losses incurred on fake tickets.
IRCTC has been given the responsibility for implementing the electronic ticket system.
Electronic tickets can be obtained from the internet as well. Steps are being taken to introduce the electronic ticketing system in mobile phones as well.
