Central government allots Rs. 500 Crores for Tamil Nadu Rural Employment project!

As a part of the central government’s Mahatma Gandhi Rural Employment project, funds are being allotted to the state governments to implement the same.
In Tamil Nadu, this scheme has been implemented under the department of rural development & Panchayat Raj .Central government has already granted Rs. 2,781 Crores to Tamil Nadu in 4 installments during the current financial year.
Following this, the central government has allocated the fund of Rs. 500 Crore for this scheme for the 4th Quarter of the financial year.
