All subsidies to be remitted to savings bank account!

The central government has planned to deposit all the subsidies and other financial assistance directly to the customer’s bank savings account from 1st April. This was informed by the officials from the ministry of finance.
This step has been taken to prevent the various maloperations in the Monthly pension, educational subsidy, and other subsidy payments
This measure is also expected to save thousands of crores of Rupees for the central government.
The direct subsidy payment for the LPG cooking gas was started as one of the steps.
It is expected that around 15 kinds of subsidy payments will now be paid directly to the customers’ bank savings account. Some other subsidy payments will also be brought under this procedure with link to the Aadhar card.
Once this proposal is approved by the central government authorities, it is expected to be implemented from 1st April.
