Railways to follow airways in getting privatized

Just the way airports were privatized with no additional charges imposed on any services, railways will soon get privatized too, according to recent announcement made by the government. This privatization will in no way affect the public, government assures.
Modernization of railway drive was earlier launched. This however was restricted to just 10 stations out of which a good number of them did not receive calls from takers. Further to this failure of plan, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has now stated that all railway stations will be redeveloped and they have invited bids for the redevelopment plan.
