Plus 2 examinations begins today-8.86 Lakh students are writing the examinations

Plus 2 public examinations begin today in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. 8.86 Lakhs students including private students are writing the examinations. More than 5000 flying squads have been pressed into service in order to check malpractices and copying.
Plus 2 examinations are the important factor which decides the future of the students. Based on the marks they obtain in the Plus 2 examinations, the students will be given seats for MBBS, BE and other professional courses. The examination will be held daily from 10 AM to 1.15 PM. Students are requested to enter examination hall before 10 am and 15 minutes will be allotted for reading the question paper. Students found copying and indulging in other malpractices will be dealt severely. Adequate water and power supply has been ensured for the students at all the examination centres.
Plus 2 examinations Control room
The Directorate of Government Examinations has also established a control room to deal with issues related to the public examinations of classes X and Plus Two.
