TTDC Plans To Launch Heritage Tourism Circuit

The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) is prepared to launch a comprehensive heritage tourism circuit by January to attract foreign tourists.
Heritage tourism circuit Covered,
- Tuvarankuruchi and Viralimalai, where the Cholas and Pandyas fought a fierce battle
- Korkai, an ancient port near Tuticorin
- Ottanchatiram in Dindugal
- Panchalankuruchi fort
- Kottar coast from where the legendary Lemuria continent extended into the sea
- Birthplace of poet Bharatiyar and V O Chidambaranar
