Post office working hours extended

Postal Department has announced that the working hours of postal savings department has been extended. Mervin Alexander, Postmaster General, Chennai City Region has mentioned,”The target for Sukanya Samriddhi Accounts during this financial year is one crore. Moreover there will more crowd because of the year ending financial account. Because of this, it has been decided to extend the working hours in the post offices by one hour. All the postal savings account banks will work one hour extra until 31st March.”
