Tamil Nadu Budget: Metro rail services from this financial year!

It was announced during the budget presentation session that Metro Rail Project will be gradually introduced for public service from this year.
Mr. O. Panneerselvam, Chief Minister holding the portfolio of Finance, made a press release while presenting the budget for 2015-16.
Metro Rail Project will be gradually implemented for public service from this year.
The state government has contributed its share of funds and stocks completely.
Rs. 618.78 Crores has been allotted for Metro Rail Project in the budget for 2015-16 to ensure timely completion of the project.
The state government is confident that the central government will make funds available on time from its share of Rs. 1498.78 Crores.
