240th jayanthi of south Indian poet Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar to be celebrated

A two day programme to celebrate the 240th jayanthi of south Indian poet Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar will be held on Apr 25 and 26 at Arkay Convention Center, Luz. The event will be inaugurated by the chief guest G. S. Raghavan, CEO, TVS and Sons on Apr 25. N. V. Subramanian – founder of Saraswathi Vaggeyakara Trust is the guest of honour.
A presentation by Revathi Sadasivam on A. Ananthakrishna Iyer (great grand nephew of Muthuswamy Dikshitar) and a violin recital by Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi will follow the inauguration.
