Good news for the ones who are possessing the old torn currency notes as RBI has set up a new themed programme of exchanging your old torn and damaged currencies with new ones, especially with the figures of 10, 20 and 50.
The programmed concept involves 32 Banks and 195 branches as authorised hubs to make the exchange and this includes Bharath State Bank, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Travanacore, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Allahabad Bank, Bank of India, Andhra Bank, Canara Bank, Vijaya Bank, Central Bank of India, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, IDBI Bank, ICICI bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Tamil Nadu Mercantile Bank, Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Indusland Bank, Federal Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Kotak Mahendra, TNSC Bank, Catholic Syrian Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce et al, where customers can be benefited directly with the exchange process.
The exchange of old, torn and damaged notes will be held on tomorrow (April 25,2015) in all banks.
