45000 applications for TANCET!

With the last date for application for TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) getting over on Wednesday, 29th April, 45000 applications have been received.
Admission to the government & government-aided engineering colleges offering courses and arts & science colleges offering MBA & MCA and colleges offering post-graduation in engineering is based on TANCET.
The announcement for this year’s TANCET was released recently.
The application form distribution started from 1st April. The last for sending the applications was set as 25th April for other centres and 29th April for Chennai Centre.
Thus, the last date was over on Wednesday, 29th April.
A total of 44970 candidates have applied.
18451 candidates have applied for MBA.
7158 candidates have applied for MCA.
19361 candidates have applied for M E/M Tech.
TANCET for MCA & MBA will be conducted on 16th May.
TANCET for M E/M Tech will be conducted on 17th May.
