Tamil Nadu may receive rains today

There are chances of rains today in Tamil Nadu because there is upper circulation in south west Bay of Bengal. The scorching heat of summer season is unbearable. Katiri Veyil is to commence in two days. In spite of this, there are rains in Tamil Nadu because of convection.
Few days back the upper circulation in over Comorin area has moved on to Lakshadweep. This has become weak. At this juncture an upper circulation at south west bay would bring in rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu.
