Checking of all school vehicles from 11th May!

All Regional Transport Officers have been ordered to check all school vehicles and submit a detailed report before 30th May.
Accordingly, the checking/inspection of all school vehicles is set to start by 11th May.
Thorough checking will be carried out on 16 features including the condition of tyres, emergency exits, steps, fire-extinguishers, first-aid boxes, drivers’ eyes inspection, and speed control system and then certificate will be issued.
Vehicles which were not given certificates will not be permitted to operate.
