Sales of smartphones down by 7% in India!

In the 1st quarter of the year 2015, from January to March, the sales of smartphones in India went down by 7% with 1.95 crore phones sold.
Overall cell phone sales including smartphones went down by 15% and 5.3 crore phones were sold.
Telecommunication Analyst, Mr. Gousa from Cybermedia, explained that the reduction in sales of cell phones may be attributed to changes in import duties and restrictions on import from China.
