Official reports reveals Viber Calls are cheaper than Whatsapp

In the recent times, there have been an unclaimed buzz that Whatsapp Call facilities are offering more benefits to the 3G Data users as they are able to make foreign calls and speak to their beloved ones. But here comes an affirmed statement from AndroidPit, a well known analysis hub of Android Applications. In this report issued by them, it says that although the price tariff of Whatsapp call is comparatively lesser than the normal call type, there seems to be a hidden charge. Yes, although the price would be cheaper, Whatsapp consumes more Data usage while making a call. Moreover, the calls you make to the local or foreign remain to be the same. The shocking fact is that it consumes around 1.2 Mb data per minute and when it comes to Viber, it’s just 240Kb. Especially, when using Whatsapp call, lots of data are downloaded, which leaves would loot away all the data package.
