Blood donation camp to be conducted by 108 Ambulance services

A blood donation camp is to be held tomorrow. The camp is being organized by Tamil Nadu’s 108 ambulance services. The camp will be held at 108 ambulance service office located in Kasturba Gandhi General Hospital in Triplicane. Men and women who are aged between 18 and 60 can donate their blood. The camp will function from 10 AM to 2 PM.
Officials of 108 services said, “Normally during summer season there will be decline in blood supply in the blood banks. Hence every year we organize the blood donation camps during the summer season. The donated blood will be given to the blood bank of Kasturba Gandhi General Hospital.”
