Hand-held device for postmen for services including money orders!

The Postal Department has decided to give hand-held devices to postmen.
The project cost is Rs. 1370 Crores.
The hand-held devices will be given to 13 Lakh postmen serving all over the country.
The hand-held device has facility to link with internet and bio-metric connections.
Individual identity can be confirmed with this hand-held device with the help of fingerprints & Aadhar card number.
The hand-held device functions on solar energy.
It has features including receipt printing and digital signatures. Once the addressee signs on receipt of registered post or Money Order, this will immediately reach the central server.
Internet facility for this hand-held device will be provided by BSNL!
This will help in quicker service, elimination of unwanted procedure, and associate delays.
