The news that names of voters who have not included Aadhar Card numbers will be removed is false!

Chief Election Commissioner Mr. Sandeep Saxena has informed that a false news that names of the people who did not include their Aadhar Card numbers will be removed from the voters’ list.
This is not at all true.
Further, Aadhar card is not required for fresh registrations in the voters’ list.
The Election Commission will not divulge confidential data such as Aadhar card number, Cell phone number, and e-mail addresses to other agencies including political parties.
This data is strictly confidential kept by the Election Commission only.
