Closing Ceremony and Award function of the eightth edition of Chennai International Film Festival held at Woodlands Theater on 23rd December.
The Jury Award is given to Mr.R.Parthiban by Ms.Aparnasen for his performance in Ayirathil Oruvan. The Script Writer Award is given to Mr.Prabhu Solomon for his film Myna by Mr.K.Bhagyaraj. The 2nd Best Film Award is given to Mr.Sargunam and Producer Mr.Nazir for the film Kalavaani by Mr.Balumahendra.
The Best Film Award has been given to the film Angadi Theru..It has been received by Dir Vasantha Balan and Exe.Producer Mr.Vijayakumar from Mr.Balumahendra and Mr.KBhagyaraj.
