Chennai District Collector E Sundaravalli has announced that the grievance meeting which was to be held on 1st June stands cancelled. In a statement issued on Thursday, the Collector has stated, “ The Indian Election Commission has announced the by election for the R K Nagar constituency on 27th June. From 26 May the the model code of conduct is in place, hence the weekly grievance meeting held on every Monday at the Collectors Office will not be held.”
