Deep Depression Over Eastcentral Arabian Sea- A Cyclone Warning

A depression over east central Arabian Sea centred about 580 km southwest of Mumbai is moving North-northwest and could intensify further into a deep depression during next 24 hrs.
Under the influence of this system, rainfall would occur at many places with isolated heavy falls over coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa during the next 48 hours.
Strong winds speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph would prevail along and off Maharashtra , Goa and Karnataka coasts during next 24 hrs and 55-65 kmph gusting to 75 kmph during subsequent 24 hours. Sea condition would be rough to very rough along and off Maharashtra , Goa and Karnataka coasts during the next 48 hours.
Fishermen along and off Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka coasts are advised not to venture into the sea during next 48 hours.
