Petrol price hiked by 64 paise; diesel reduced by Rs 1.35

Petrol price hiked by 64 paise a litre, but diesel price was reduced by Rs 1.35 per litre in line with trend in global oil rates.
The revision in rates will be effective from Monday midnight.
Petrol price in Chennai will cost Rs 70.12 per litre from today. A litre of diesel will cost Rs 54.29 per litre.
