The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has mentioned that the All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Test (AIPMT), 2015 will be re-conducted on July 25.
Central Board of Secondary Education conducted All India Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental Test on 3rd May. This was cancelled due to some irregularities. The decision came after the Supreme Court directed a re-test following allegations of large-scale irregularities in the examination held on May 3.
The Haryana Police had nabbed four people from Rohtak in connection with the leak of the AIPMT answer keys two days after the test was held. Answer keys to the AIPMT questions, SIM cards and bluetooth hearing devices were also recovered from them.
Nearly 6.3 lakh candidates had registered for AIPMT in 2015.
It also advised the candidates to ensure functioning of their email ids and mobile numbers given at the time of submitting their application so as to receive the updates issued by CBSE from time to time.
The apex court, while hearing petitions alleging large-scale irregularities in the exam, had directed re-conduct of AIPMT, 2015 and declared the results by August 17, observing that the examination has become a "suspect" and there "cannot be any compromise at any cost".
