Windows joins WhatsApp voice calling brigade

Whatapp voice calling is now finally available for Windows Phone users. The Windows WhatsApp page now says, ‘Call your friends and family using WhatsApp for free, even if they’re in another country. WhatsApp calls use your phone’s Internet connection rather than your cellular plan’s voice minutes. Available on Windows Phone 8+.’
Windows phone users were using the Beta Program till now. An update released by Windows enables users avail the new facility. Updating the software to the 2.12.60.0 version will also allow MP3 files to be stored in the pictures folder, something that could be done in a separate folder till now.
