Tips to relieve stress

Stress is something that all human beings - and animals - suffer from on a daily basis. Whether it be your work or your home, something or the other always gets you worked up. Here are a few tips to help you relieve the stress in your life. 

Remove the clutter from your life:
Just as cleaning your home or your work space gives you clarity on what is need and what is not, cleaning your mind from time to time does the same. Empty that ‘trash can’ in your head. Prioritise emotions and thoughts that are positive and increase productivity. Another way to increase productivity, and keep a sane mind at the same time, is to make time for the things that you love to do, or is important for you in the long run. Make time for exercise, for your family and your friends.

Delegate:
‘If I want it done right, I have to do it myself’ is something that many of you think. Well, if you do everything yourself, you will not be able to relax is what is reality. Work in a team at the office. At home, let every member of the family have a responsibility. But remember, just because they do it differently, it doesn’t mean they do it wrong. 

Organise your day:
Make a schedule and stick to it. You will realise how much you can get done only when you make that schedule. By sticking to it, you can finish tasks diligently and properly. Of course, the schedule has to be a reasonable one to enhance productivity.
