MORE COMMUNITY COLLEGES OPENED IN CHENNAI

M. Subramanian, Mayor ,the Chennai Corporation announced the opening of three more community colleges in Chennai on Friday. The community colleges will provide skills training to underprivileged students . With these Three the Chennai Corporation has opened Seven Community colleges so far. The Mayor announced the courses such as computer security services and computer accountant training in the three new colleges and the one on Vathiyar Kandapillai Street, Choolai, would offer courses in pharma retail and hardware maintenance training. The college at Gangapuram, T.Nagar will offer Courses in computer hardware and networking and implementing and maintaining computer network. The project cost is estimated to be is around Rs.13.68 lakh.
