TruJet operations in Chennai

TruJet announced that it would operate flights between Rajahmundry, Hyderabad and Chennai from July 25. Promoted by Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja and V Umesh of Turbo Aviation, the company intends to connect tier II cities in south India. TruJet obtained approval from the ministry of civil aviation to start scheduled air services in July 2014.
The company started formal operations on July 12 on the Hyderabad-Tirupati-Hyderabad and Hyderabad-Rajahmundry-Hyderabad routes. It will also run season additional special flights on the Hyderabad-Rajahmundry-Hyderabad and Chennai-Rajahmundry-Chennai route from July 15 to July 25. Regular schedule on the Chennai route will begin from July 26 along with flights on the Hyderabad-Aurangabad sector.
