Google - New photo service from August 1st

Google has released a statement that says that its app Google+ Photos will shut down on August 1st. The shutdown will be on Android devices first, followed by iOS.
In place of this service, Google has introduced a Google Photos service. Android users have been notified of the change already. Post August 1st, users will be able to access their photos and videos on Google Takeout.
