2 Post Offices in Chennai City accredited with ISO!!

Meritorious news has been gathered that 2 Post Offices in Chennai are set to be accredited with ISO quality certification.
Chennai GPO (General Post Office) and the Head Post Office in T Nagar bare the 2 Post Offices getting accredited with ISO.The CEO Merwyn Alexander made a press release yesterday:
Chennai GPO & T Nagar Head Post Office have got accredited with ISO Certificate.This will be valid from 10th August for 3 years.
ISO Certificate has been given based on quality service and administration.
It should be noted here that already there are 5 Post Offices – Anna Salai, Mylapore Head Post Office, Trichy RS Puram Head Post Office, and Palayamkottai Head Post Office – have been accredited with ISO.
In a move to change over from administration mode to service mode, the central government has started a scheme ‘Sevotam’. The above 7 Post Offices got ISO under this scheme.
