S Ve Shekher to join Cong on Feb 6

Film actor and Mylapore MLA S Ve Shekher on Wednesday announced that he will formally join the Congress Party on Feb 6.
In a press release he says that he would be joined in the party in front of TNCC president K V Thangabalu, Union Ministers P Chidambaram, GK Vaasan and other prominent leaders.
Shekher, who left the BJP to join the AIADMK in the run up to the May 2006 assembly elections, won from Mylapore by beating DMK candidate actor Napoleon.
