TNPSC Group-2 results likely in two months

TNPSC has announced that the results of Group-2 exams will be announced in two months from now. The Group-2 examinations conducted for filling 1241 vacant positions began yesterday. This exam sees participation from approximately 6 lakh candidates.
Announcements about vacant positions for child welfare officer will be made by TNPSC very soon, said Bala Subramanian, the chairman of TNPSC.
In 1511 centers across Tamil Nadu, Group-2 examinations are taking place for filling the vant positions. On the whole, 6,20,220 candidates are taking up the test. In Chennai, in about 167 centers, the exam is taking place which sees participation from 64,309 attendees. The examination taking place at Rosari Matric Higher Secondary School, Santhome, Chennai was inspected by Bala Subramanian.
Speaking during the inspection, he said this is for the first time that candidates will be selected through TNPSC Group 2 exam for filling vacant positions as child welfare officer. There are 89 vacant positions in this category as of now. B.Sc Nursing degree holders are applicable for the position. Announcements about the same will be made soon.
For group-1 exams, as of 24th of last month, 60,444 applications are received. The last date for applying for group-1 exams is 9th of August.
