Sales of cars in July up by 17.47%!

Indian Car Manufacturers Association has informed that sales of passenger cars have increased by 17.47% in the month of July.
A total of 162022 passenger cars have been sold in July.
Last year`s figure for the corresponding period was 137922.
This constitutes a 17.47% increase.
808332 motorcycles have been sold in July, 2015. The corresponding figure in 2014 was 863188. This constitutes a 6.36% fall.
However, the total sales of 2-wheelers have increased by 0.14%.
1300457 2-wheelers were sold in July, 2015.
The sales of commercial vehicles also registered an increase of 8.41% (51795 vehicles).
Considering all vehicles, sales have increased by 1.39% at 1619771 vehicles.
Corresponding figure for 2014 is 1597493.
