American rights of Puli sold for Rs 2 Crores

Vijay has donned the lead role in a fantasy historical film Puli which has been directed by Chimbudevan. It has been announced that the film will be released on Vinayaka Chaturthi day. Now the business for the film has commenced. Talks for business in the overseas have started. It has been mentioned that American rights have been sold for Rs 2 Crores. So far none of Vijay`s films have been sold for this rate in US. Because of this, it is expected the film Puli will yield 2 million dollars profit in Canada and US. It is about Rs 13 Crores in Indian currency. Now the talks are being held with European countries. It has been mentioned that the film will do business on par with Baahubali.
