Aadhar Card Camp in schools

The Tamil Nadu State education department has directed the district education officials to carry out a maneuver to enroll students under the Aadhaar. The education department has already notified the government school headmasters in the district to carry out a survey identifying the children who need Aadhaar cards. A senior official at the education department said with the central government providing various subsidies for school education, the government is trying to make the students obtain the cards. Headmasters and teachers have been asked to send the list of students in each school and are working on conducting camps for the students. The district administration in the rural parts and the city corporation in the urban areas will aid the school education department in the task.
