Customers with Post Office saving Account can apply for ATM

Chennai Metro City Regional Postal Department President Mr. Alexander informed that all customers having Post Office Savings Accounts can now apply for ATMs.
Currently ATMs have been installed in the Head Post Offices in T Nagar, Mylapore, Anna Salai, Parangimalai and Tambaram. Sufficient quantity of money has been kept in them.
Customers having Post Office Savings Accounts can avail these ATMs. They can apply for ATM at the Post Office where they keep their saving accounts.
A minimum balance of Rs. 500/- must be available in the account to use the ATM facility.
