VAT procedure taken online!

All the processes including assessment, appeal and recovery for VAT will be made online very soon. This move is believed to comfort all the dealers. As per the sources from the Commercial Taxes department, the workflow system of VAT will be converted as online procedures. So far, returns, payments and registrations are done online. This is being backed by TCS with its tech support as the firm is a partner for the project. This is carried out at Rs 178 crore cost, according to sources.
All the processes including assessment, payments, refund will be made online for goods that are outside the state.
