Chennai Airport Expansion at a cost of Rs. 1000 Crores!

Indian Airport Authority has planned to expand Chennai Airport at a cost of Rs. 1000 Crores.
With the plans of handing over the airport administration to private parties having failed, the authority has taken this decision for Chennai Airport Expansion.
An airport official informed that there are plans to link the Chennai domestic airport & the international airport which will facilitate the passengers to access the airport easily.
The official also informed that plans are afoot to improve other airports including Tirupathi.
