Tamil Nadu state government employees to get a rise in DA by 6%!

Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalithaa has announced the good news for all state government employees and pensioners the increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) by 6%.
The announcement:
The increased Dearness Allowance for all state government employees and pensioners will be assessed and paid effective from 1st July, 2015.
This increased DA will enable the state government employees and pensioners to get additional pay of Rs. 366/- to Rs. 4620/-.
It is expected that around 18 lakh state government employees and pensioners will benefit by this increased DA.
